CSI: Eureka!
Physical Evidence: Collected, Analyzed, Applied

It all started with a simple vote. Sophomores in Ms. Hart's Biology class had the opportunity to choose which unit they would like to close out the year with. With an electronic vote on their school web site, they chose forensic science.
They had to learn the difference between identified evidence and evidence that is individualized. They also had to learn about career opportunities in the forensic science field. Lastly, the classes went through a series of labs that included fingerprinting, fingerprint lifting, blood type analysis, blood spatter recognition, along with hair and fiber studies. These labs touched on the 3 major fields of science: physics, chemistry, and biology. Can they put their skills to use? We will find out when they are in charge of working their own crime scene!
