Volleyball Team Opens Season 2-0
The Lady Tornadoes opened the volleyball season with 2 big victories in Wichita Tuesday. Eureka took on the Jets of Altoona first and quickly overwhelmed them from start to finish. Eureka won 25-14, 25-7. The ladies then took on the Knights of Trinity which could prove to be a confidence builder as Trinity is a very good team with many weapons. Regional Track
The Eureka Tornado Track & Field team had an excellent day at the regional track meet in Fredonia. The Tornadoes qualified all three relay teams, along with two in the javelin and one in the pole vault. Haley Pitko won the javelin event with a throw of 116'10".
