2012 Eureka Science Fair

The 2012 Eureka Science Fair was held on Thursday, January 26, 2012. The fair boasted of 145 projects. Local judges scored the students’ work. Fifty-four students qualified to attend the regional science fair at Emporia State University on February 25, 2012. \
The results are as follows: 1st Place, Claire Cook; 2nd Place, Raegan Boone; 3rd Place, Haylee Boulanger, Honorable Mentions, Jessica Moffat, Kate McDonald, and Kyan Kelly.
Student qualifying for the regional competition are as follows: 6th graders: Amanda Soule, Shae Richardson, Madison Delinger, Jade Edwards, Bethany Campbell, Gilberto Becerra, Lexi Brinkmeyer, Christian Leis, Ishonn Shockley, Cameron Clayton, Mikayla Mitchell, Emily Boardman, Camryn Hoover, Teresa Mills, Jozie Bowes, Jennifer Torrey, Becky Schmidt, Pete Basham, and Hannah Simon. 7th and 8th Graders: Alyssa Howard, Ashleigh Denchfield, Bailee Wallace, Jayte Hamilton, Jessica Mills, Taylor Davis, Raegan Boone, Allison Simon, Wyatt Ingalls, Danny Baraza, Klanci Wiggins, Ethan Koehn, Breann Altis, Chandler Mongeau, Remington Talley, Autumn Wilson, Braden Larcom, Kyan Kelly, Peyton Harrington, Chandler Birkholtz, Marieca Maxson, Gentry Bilson, Adrion Self, Caleb Gulick, Melanie Winters, Claire Cook, Haylee Boulanger, Kate McDonald, Jessica Moffat, Zoie White, Emily Torrey, Trenton Jones, Hannah Zimmers, Alyssa Gibson and Chris Ray.
