Red Ribbon Week Activities

October 26- 30, 2009 is Red Ribbon Week.   Eureka Jr/Sr High School and SADD supports making good choices and living a drug free life.   SADD's executive committee met with Mayor Pitko as he signed Eureka's Red Ribbon Week Proclamation to insight community awareness, support, and participation.

Activities at EJSHS for the week include wearing Red Ribbon Week buttons provided by SADD all week long.  Students can also show their support by participating in  Red Ribbon Week dress up days.  The schedule is as follows: Monday, Sleep Away Drugs - wear school appropriate pajamas; Tuesday, Fight Off Drugs - wear school appropriate ninja attire; Wednesday, Wear Red Day; Thursday,Scare Away Drugs - wear school appropriate Halloween Costumes; Friday, no school.  Prizes will be provided to students by SADD for their participation.  The community is also encouraged to participate in the dress up days!
