Babson/Braden Scholarship Information

BABSON FOUNDATION TO AWARD NEW SCHOLARSHIPS
The Babson Foundation has received new funds to be awarded as scholarships. These additional scholarships involve new criteria and open up new possibilities for students. The criteria are explained in the following paragraphs.
This application will be used to select both the Babson and the Braden scholarship recipients.
BABSON SCHOLARSHIPS - The requirements for the Babson Scholarships have not changed. Important factors in determining the Babson Scholarship recipients are: GPA, ACT scores, State Assessment scores, activities and leadership.
LYNN BRADEN AND MARTHA BRADEN SCHOLARSHIPS - The purpose of these scholarships is to honor the Bradens by providing financial assistance to Eureka High School graduates in any curriculum, at any post secondary educational institution, including but not limited to: universities, colleges, junior colleges, vocational education schools, and trade schools.
For the Braden Scholarships GPA and ACT scores will not be weighted as heavily as they are for the Babson Scholarships. However, the Braden recipients must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be in the top 50% of the senior class. Activities and leadership will also be considered.
