Biographical Information
I grew up in Burlington, Kansas and attended Burlington High School. I later graduated from Kansas State University. I am married to Jim, who works for Farm Bureau Insurance in Eureka. Jim and I have two children. Braden is a student at Kansas State University, and Bailee is a senior at Eureka High School.
I began my teaching career with the West Elk School District. During my 18 years at West Elk, I was the 3rd grade teacher at Severy Elementary. During this time I obtained a Master's Degree with a Reading Specialist endorsement from Emporia State University. In 2008, I took a position as the fourth grade at Marshall Elementary but recently switched to Title I.
I enjoy spending time outside. My favorite outdoor activities are camping and boating with family and friends. I also love to read a good book. My children keep me very busy with all of their school activities.
