I grew up near Downs, Kansas and graduated from Downs High
School. I
attended and graduated from Fort Hays State College with a BS
degree in
elementary education. Finally, I graduated from Emporia State
University with
a MS degree in Special Education.
This is my seventeenth year in the teaching profession. Fifteen of
these
years have been here at USD 389. I have taught a variety of
subjects and
grade levels including fourth grade, elementary vocal music,
kindergarten,
special education and second grade.
My family includes my husband,John,son,Michael, daughter Laura
and
son-in-law David.
Some of my hobbies include reading, playing the piano, and
gardening.
