1st Grade Field Trip

This week, Marshall first graders traveled to Exploration Place in Wichita. Students enjoyed many hands-on activities, some which included building stuff with Legos, exploring the inside of an airplane cockpit, a paper airplane shooter, Tornado Tunnel, Human size operation game, along with many hands-on activities.

 

While there, students also viewed a short video in the Dome titled Kansas which showed many wonderful state has to visit like Big Ben, Little Jerusalem State Park, the wonderful Flint Hills and other places in Kansas.

 

Students also enjoyed a 25 minute Live Science Show where they learned about how much pressure it takes to flatten a Lego, what lighting rod on buildings are for, what can happen to a skyscraper in the event of an Earthquake.
