Geometry Town

Mrs. Bitler’s geometry classes finished out the year with a fun project. The project was to design and draw a map of a fictional town. The catch was the town’s layout focused on geometry vocabulary. For example, they were to place coffee shops in corresponding angles, a school shaped like a trapezoid in an obtuse angle, a bridge connecting complementary angles, and more. They were encouraged to be creative with their design and have some fun with it. Some of the students showed off their artistic talent and even their Christmas spirit.
