Big FAFSA Changes Are Coming

In the past, the FAFSA®  (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) has opened in October.  We’re still months away from students being able to file the FAFSA® in December, but that doesn’t mean students can’t be prepared.  EJSHS will bring in FAFSA®  experts again this December to help senior families complete the application.  The FAFSA sheet below provides:

 

  • A timeline of when to file the FAFSA® depending on when they plan on attending college.
  • Credentials students and parents need before filing the FAFSA®.
  • Information about what is no longer needed (remember – different doesn’t mean bad!).
  • Helpful tips about the FAFSA® process.
