Ancient Civilization Presentations

6th Graders were given the opportunity to Create their own Civilizations. All 6th Graders worked in groups picking every small detail of their civilizations from the type of crops they farm to the symbol on their flag. The 6th Grade Civilizations include, Seinglingko, Freatoville, Zueses, ContivEO, Patria, Cherry Blossoms, Olympians, Birdtopia, Pedroville, Hysteria and the Cantalopians. These students worked really hard to meet the expectations of the project, and they did an amazing job. It was truly a wonderful sight to how creative these 6th Graders could be, especially when it came to their art projects with Play-dough, their flags and the names of their civilizations. The students set one of their team members as the artist of the group, the artist made their Art Piece (Play-Dough Sculpture), flag and came up with a name for their civilization that supposed historians would find many years later.
