2 Qualify for State

The Southeast District FFA held the Speech, Food Science, and Farm Management contests on December 4, 2023. Lyle and Hannah Perrier gave an extemporaneous speech. Lyle ended up 2nd and Hannah was 4th. Both qualified for the State Extemporaneous Speech Contest in May 2024. Addison Westerman presented her Sophomore Prepared Speech and got 2nd place. Miley Baumgartel and Hunter Olsen participated in the Food Science Contest. Wylee Boulanger, Lyle Perrier, TJ Mills, and Dylan Hamilton made up the team that won the Farm Management Contest. Individual placings are as follows: Lyle-3rd, TJ-6th, and Wylee-8th.
