6th Grade Themes of History

Our 6th graders have just wrapped up an exciting project! Working in pairs, students selected one of six thought-provoking themes: Interconnectedness of Societies, Belief Systems, Human-Environment Interactions, Rise of Civilizations, Growth and Changes in Societies, or Development of Political Institutions and Ideas. Together, they explored their chosen theme by writing a clear description, providing a concrete real-world example, and including an image that symbolizes their theme. The students had a great time bringing their ideas to life, and their hard work will soon be proudly displayed in the hallway for all to see!
