Let's Test!

March 29, 2026

Our teachers have been working hard to make sure the standards for the subjects have been taught. Students have been busy working in the computer lab to become familiar with the Kite Student Portal, which is the online platform that will be used during testing. Fifth grade will be leading off the testing with the Science Assessment starting on March 31 and April 2.  Grades 3-6 will all be testing with Reading from April 7-10. Math will be the final assessment to be given April 13-17.

Tips for Testing:

  • Get enough sleep the night before the test.
  • Make sure to eat a good breakfast.
  • Take time to preview and find questions you know you can do.
  • Study answer choices and see if you can eliminate choices to get to 50/50 chance.
  • Show your work.
  • Provide encouragement for working hard and trying hard on the test.
  • Pay attention to single answers, multiple answers, matching, and the drop boxes.
  • Be sure to answer all questions.
  • Relax and don’t stress…easier said than done.
  • Try your very best!
