Early Childhood & Preschool Happenings
We have been so busy with learning and fun activities this April! We just finished our Fairy tale section of literacy and have started our science section. Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Harrison have bought us a worm farm to watch, gathered tadpoles and just recently added caterpillars to our rooms. We cannot wait until our chrysalis hatch and we get to release our Painted Lady butterflies.
We have two letters left to learn and then we will know our entire alphabet! Phonics has taught us about syllables, segmenting words and initial sounds (onsets & rimes). We are on our last phonics book and our last Eureka Math book. We are busy little learners and love to share what we know.
We hosted our morning Family Fun day last Friday and will host the afternoon class tomorrow. We sang; Herman the Worm, Millipede March & Alphabet song. We decorated flower pots with spring pictures, made a spring wooden label and planted flowers. We had yummy cookies and lemonade and played outside with our guests. This is always a fun day to share with our family.
We are counting down the days until summer!
