Antonym Match Up

So glad to be into a new school year! Third grade is as busy as can be as we begin lots of new and exciting things this year. J
At the beginning of the year, the students were able to do a fun activity to practice identifying and matching up antonyms. In small groups, they were asked to take a set of cards with words on them, and then work together to try and match another set of cards that contained the antonym to the words. The kids did a nice job of working together to sort the words and make matches with them to join the two antonyms together. It was a great activity to start out the school year and a great way to practice using their skills to work as a team to reach a common goal.
