“The Outsiders”
Mrs. Castle’s eighth grade classes are finishing up the novel “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton. They worked in groups to complete the Body Project Poster. This activity focused on reviewing supportive evidence, defining the literary term “character trait,” and exploring how to provide details that support their inferences. They also worked on skills in the area of communication, cooperation, and teamwork such as planning, management, leadership, and peer support.
