This years College Algebra class is the largest we've had at EJSHS with a total of 15 students enrolled this semester. Most of these students were in Algebra 2 first semester and are now earning college credit through Pittsburg State University for College Algebra. They have blocks of lessons to complete at their own pace every two weeks that will make up 25% of their grade. In March they will take proctored mid-term exam and in May, a proctored final exam. The mid-term and final, along with chapter tests, make up 75% of their grade.
This is a great opportunity to get a head start on college general ed requirements. If you're a sophomore, keep this in mind for next year.
