5th and 6th Grade Band
The 5th and 6th Grade Bands have been working very hard this first semester. The 5th grade band members just started learning their instruments at the beginning of September and have been working hard on learning the fundamentals. Students have learned "Rolling Along," "Lightly Row," "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," as well as other short melodies. We are now working on "Jingle Bells," and "Up On A House Top." We will perform these two tunes at the Christmas Sing-A-Long on Tuesday, December 19.
The 6th grade band has also been working hard since the beginning of the school year building on the skills they learned last year. These band members did a wonderful job playing "You're A Grand Old Flag" for the Veterans Day program and are now working on "Frosty The Snowman," and "Holly Jolly Christmas, which they will be performing at the Christmas Sing-A-Long on Tuesday, December 19
