Back by popular demand is Marshall Elementary's Music Madness!!
Coinciding with college basketball's March Madness tournament, Marshall students are in a competition as well, but with MUSIC! Kindergarten - 6th Grade students will listen to 16 different songs and will vote on their favorites until they pick an ultimate winning song!
The Kindergarten-2nd Grade bracket has songs from our MusicPlay music curriculum and feature a wide variety of musical genres. The jazz song, "Scoo Be Doo" has quickly become a fan favorite! Perhaps, it will be champion!!
The 3rd-6th Graders, picked their own bracket theme of "Teacher Graduation Hits." Their teachers then sent hit songs from the year they graduated highschool. After looking at the songs, the 3rd-6th Grade bracket is divided into county vs. pop songs. Students are listening to amazing hit songs throughout the last few decades. Whitney Houston vs. Beyonce or Tim McGraw vs. Alan Jackson!!
What a wonderful and fun opportunity for our students to enjoy!!
